Currently spanning 5 acres, with ambitious plans to expand to 15 acres, IBCT is well-prepared to meet the evolving demands of international trade.

A key strength of IBCT lies in its strategic location. Positioned just 7 kilometers from Tuticorin Port, our yard offers exceptional access to one of India's premier maritime gateways. This close proximity significantly shortens transit times, enhancing the overall efficiency of our container handling operations. Our current 5-acre facility provides extensive space for the storage, movement, and maintenance of containers, while our planned expansion to 15 acres reflects our proactive approach to future growth and capacity-building, readying us for the increasing volumes of cargo passing through Tuticorin Port.

Our yard is outfitted with cutting-edge equipment, including three Hydra Cranes, each with a lifting capacity of 12 metric tons, ensuring quick and efficient container handling for seamless loading and unloading. We also boast 6 reefer plug points for refrigerated containers, 2 forklifts for flexible material handling, and a 65 kVA genset to guarantee reliable power and uninterrupted operations. To maintain the highest standards, we utilize advanced equipment for all repair and cleaning processes, such as high-pressure water jets and steam cleaning machines. Additionally, covered workshops are available where necessary, ensuring that repairs can be carried out regardless of weather conditions.

All inspection and repair activities are managed by a team of highly qualified, trained, and experienced professionals, with each depot staffed by IICL-certified inspectors to uphold the highest quality and safety standards.
